A person died after suffering a medical emergency at The Bell Inn on Preston Road, Yeovil, shortly after 11.30am on Sunday 16 August 2026.

South Western Ambulance Service was called to the public house, where emergency services responded. Despite efforts to save the individual, they were pronounced deceased at the scene.
