Yeovil Town have recalled four players to the starting line-up for Saturday’s National League visit to Southend United, with kick-off scheduled for 12.30pm.
Manager Billy Rowley has moved back to a more familiar XI after the Glovers’ 3-2 home victory over Tamworth on Monday. Jordan Norville-Williams, Archie Davies, Zain Westbrooke and Ryan Jones all return from the substitutes’ bench to start at Roots Hall.
Radcliffe absent from squad
Defender Ben Radcliffe is not included in the squad after going off early in the second half of the previous match. The team news does not give a further update on the nature or seriousness of his injury.
Joe Gubbins and Slavi Spasov are both named in the line-up. The pair are returning to Southend for the first time since leaving the club to join Yeovil in the summer.
Southend include former Yeovil winger
Southend United’s starting team features former Yeovil winger Lewys Twamley. The hosts also have Promise Omochere among their substitutes after the striker joined Bristol Rovers on a season-long loan earlier this week.
The match gives Yeovil a chance to build on Monday’s home win, while the selected line-up shows Rowley has restored four players who began that game among the replacements.
