Yeovil Town have completed the permanent signing of striker Owen Dean from Farnham Town, bringing the 22-year-old to the National League club on a deal that runs until 2028.
The transfer fee has not been disclosed. Dean moves up a division as Yeovil strengthen their squad while sitting sixth in the National League and inside the play-off places.
Dean’s record at Farnham Town
Dean scored 20 goals last season as Farnham Town secured promotion to the National League South. He also made a strong start to the current campaign in the sixth tier, scoring four times before leaving the club.
His final appearance for Farnham came in last weekend’s 3-2 victory over Weston-super-Mare. That result marked the end of his spell with the club before his move to Huish Park.
A step up for the striker
The move gives Dean the opportunity to continue his development in the fifth tier with Yeovil Town. The Glovers are currently positioned among the National League play-off contenders, adding significance to the striker’s arrival as the club competes near the top end of the division.
Yeovil announced the signing on 3 October 2026. Supporters can follow pre-match, post-match and topical Yeovil Town content through BBC Sounds, where the club is featured in dedicated coverage.
