Yeovil Town’s FA Cup fourth qualifying round visit to Leatherhead will be an all-ticket fixture, meaning supporters will need to obtain tickets before attending the match at Fetcham Grove on Saturday 17 October.
Leatherhead FC, the Isthmian League Premier Division club, confirmed the arrangement on Wednesday. The club said further information about prices, purchasing and availability would be published through its website and social media channels.
Ticket information still to come
The Leatherhead tie is expected to attract a larger crowd than a routine league fixture, although the precise allocation for Yeovil supporters has not yet been confirmed. The visiting club’s supporters are being advised to wait for the official ticketing announcement rather than travel without a ticket.
“Ticketing arrangements and purchasing information will be announced in due course across our website and social media channels. We look forward to welcoming a bumper crowd for what promises to be a memorable occasion. Stay tuned for further details.”
Capacity and segregation questions
Fetcham Grove’s official capacity appears to be listed at 2,000, although some suggestions put the figure 500 higher. The ground hosted 1,140 people for Leatherhead’s third qualifying round match against Hanworth Villa last weekend.
There is not normally segregation at the stadium. However, Leatherhead has indicated that a high-profile match such as this could require some form of segregation. That may reduce the number of tickets available, with an estimate of about 200 to 300 mentioned in connection with the possible arrangements.
Supporters should look out for the confirmed ticketing details from Leatherhead before making plans for the FA Cup trip.
