Yeovil Town’s National League home match against AFC Fylde will be refereed by Paul Marsden, whose previous appointments involving the club include a controversial meeting with Oldham and a 2-0 home win over Altrincham at Huish Park.
Marsden has officiated three previous Yeovil matches. His most recent was a 1-0 defeat to Oldham in 2024, when he sent off Yeovil manager Mark Cooper. The red card was later rescinded by the Football Association after the official’s accusations were found to be not proven.
The match also remains memorable because a post-match review criticised Marsden’s performance. Dave’s first conclusion after the game said:

For the AFC Fylde fixture, Scott Chalkley and Kevin Morris will serve as assistant referees. Dean Treleaven is the fourth official, with the preview noting that he will be hoping for a quieter afternoon than the fourth official experienced during the Oldham game.
