A 41-year-old woman reported missing in Yeovil has been found safe with her family, Avon and Somerset Police have confirmed.
Joanne’s safe return resolves the public appeal issued after she was last seen on Sherborne Road at about 11am on Friday, 21 August. Police had asked the public to share information that might help establish where she was.
What was known about the search
At the time of the appeal, officers said Joanne might appear confused if approached. She was described as approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, with short grey hair.
She was wearing a grey and pink T-shirt, blue harem trousers with an elephant print and white trainers when she was reported missing.
