A 41-year-old woman who went missing in Yeovil has been found safe with her family, Avon and Somerset Police have confirmed.
The update follows a public appeal issued after Joanne was last seen on Sherborne Road at about 11am on Friday, 21 August. Police said she may appear confused if approached, and asked people to report any information that could help establish her whereabouts.
What police said about the search
Joanne was described as approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, with short grey hair. When she was reported missing, she was wearing a grey and pink T-shirt, blue harem trousers with an elephant print and white trainers.
Police said Joanne had connections to both Yeovil and Somerton and frequently walked between the two locations. That information was included in the appeal as officers sought help from members of the public who might have encountered her.

People with information had been asked to call 999 and quote reference number 5226236595, or contact police on 101. With Joanne now safe, the appeal has been resolved.
