Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to after parcels were stolen from a flat at a Yeovil building where a communal entrance was forced open.
Avon and Somerset Police said entry was forced to Central House, in Church Street, on two occasions. Parcels were then taken from the doorstep of a flat.
The latest incident happened at about 3.20pm on Friday, August 14, according to a police spokesperson. The force has not stated in the supplied appeal when the other incident took place.
Person sought by police
Police said they believe the man shown in the image may have information that could assist their enquiries into the incidents.
He is described as white, aged between 35 and 45, around 6ft tall and of slim build. Police also described him as having short brown hair, a short scruffy beard and tattoos on his back and left shoulder.
“Enquiries continue into the incidents, and we are now releasing an image of a man we would like to speak to because we believe he may have information which could assist our enquiries,”
Anyone who recognises the person pictured, or who has information about the Yeovil thefts, is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference 5226232568.
Information can also be submitted through the Avon and Somerset Police online appeals form. The appeal concerns thefts from Central House and does not state that the person pictured has been arrested or charged.
